How to Use Hormex Rooting Powder

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED: All propagation should be done indoors in a controlled environment where you can manage moisture, humidity, and provide bright, indirect light. Cuttings should be of fresh growth from a healthy mother plant or tree.

1. Use straight blade shears to cut 3" - 8" of fresh growth at a 45° angle just below a node or leaf joint. ( Avoid using regular scissors as they tend to crush the stem. You want a clean cut.)
2. Trim off bottom leaves to help the cutting focus on root development.
3. Moisten cut end of the stem with Hormex Liquid or clean room temperature water and dip 1" into Hormex Rooting Powder.
4. Place the cutting 1" deep into a rooting cube or other starter medium. Keep lightly moist and ensure bright indirect light until they are ready to transplant.
