Hormex Rooting Cubes are a plant-starting medium for cuttings and seeds, made from a blend of coco coir, peat moss and worm castings. The pre-moistened, aerated cubes are flexible and hold together for handling young plants.
Use the cubes in a propagation system, then transfer rooted plants to soil or a suitable hydroponic setup. Each cube is approximately 1.25 × 1.5 inches. Choose a 50-cube refill bag or the existing 2,100-cube bulk box.

Prepare a fresh cutting with clean shears. If using Hormex Rooting Powder, choose the strength for your plant, moisten the cutting base, dip and tap off excess powder. Place the treated cutting into a cube, taking care not to rub off the powder. See the plant and strength guide before selecting a powder.
Use a cube as the seed-starting medium. Choose the planting depth, temperature and germination conditions recommended for the seed variety.
Keep the growing medium lightly moist, not soaked. Once roots have developed, move the rooted plant and cube to soil or a suitable hydroponic setup. Rooting and germination time depend on the plant variety and growing conditions.
The 2,100-cube bulk box may take 5–10 days to arrive.
