The Hormex Rooting Duo pairs Rooting Powder #8 for semi-hardwood cuttings with Vitamin B1 & Hormone Concentrate for root and stem development, plant care and transplanting. It contains one ¾ oz (21 g) powder bottle and one 8 fl oz (236 mL) liquid bottle.

Use clean shears to cut just below a node, remove the lower leaves and lightly moisten the cutting base. Dip the base into Rooting Powder #8 and tap off excess. Place the cutting in your chosen medium and keep it lightly moist, not waterlogged.
For indoor plants, use 1 tsp (5 mL) concentrate per gallon of water every time you water. For transplanting, drench the newly planted soil area with 1–2 tsp (5–10 mL) per 5 gallons of water once weekly until established.
For hydroponics or aeroponics, use 1–2 tsp (5–10 mL) concentrate per 5 gallons when changing or adding water. For bare-root planting, presoak roots for 15 minutes in 6 tsp (30 mL) per gallon, then follow the transplanting method.
The liquid has a separate method for softwood cuttings: dip the base in full-strength concentrate for 3–5 minutes, then place it in a starter medium.
