Start with the growing conditions

Give your plant appropriate bright, indirect light and check the potting mix before watering. Use a container that lets excess water drain, and avoid leaving the pot sitting in collected water. Rather than watering every plant on the same calendar, pay attention to how quickly each one uses moisture.
Those small observations help you notice changes early. A yellow leaf or slower growth is a reason to look more closely, not automatically a reason to add more nutrients.

Make maintenance part of watering
For regular maintenance, shake the bottle well and mix 1 tablespoon of Hormex Tropical into 32 ounces of room temperature water. Apply to soil every other watering.
Every other watering follows your plant’s needs, rather than creating a new schedule. If the potting mix is still too wet for that plant, wait until it is ready for water. Adding a nutrient product should not mean watering more often.
Address a nutrient deficiency
For correction of nutrient deficiency symptoms, mix 1 tablespoon into 32 ounces of water and apply to soil for the next three consecutive waterings, before returning to your normal routine. Shake well before mixing and use room temperature water.
Keep checking the growing conditions alongside your nutrient routine. More product is not a substitute for the right light or appropriate watering.
